Other nearby areas of outstanding natural beauty include the Pentire headland, the river Gannel, Crantock and Holywell Bay, plus Newquay golf course with views over Fistral beach just a five-minute walk away.
Several nearby hotels offer fine dining to non-residents including the excellent Lewinnick Lodge Bar and Restaurant at the end of Pentire headland, with spectacular views of the Atlantic coast.
The centre of Newquay is a 10-minute walk — close enough for those who enjoy the nightlife but far enough away for those who prefer to enjoy the beaches, restaurants and the magnificent coastline.
