Fernwood is a large, detached, self-catering holiday property located within lush, Cornish countryside and on the doorstep of the Atlantic coastline.
The property is in a quiet village of St Column Minor which hosts a traditional village public house (a two-minute walk), plus a church, grocery stores and country walks.
The closest beach is the lovely family friendly Porth Beach — only a 20-minute walk or a few minutes drive to park your car on the beach for the day.
It is also only a five-minute drive from Newquay town centre and surrounding beaches and vibrant nightlife.
With room to sleep up to 10 guests, Fernwood will accommodate large families or large groups of friends and is perfect for two families to share. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
Relax on one of the fantastic beaches where you can learn to surf, try shark fishing, take a hair raising ride on a jet boat or just play at the water's edge which is patrolled throughout the summer by RNLI lifegaurds.
At the end of the day relax in a number of acclaimed restaurants including Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Watergate bay or the locals popular choice, the Lewinnick Lodge, with stunning views of the Atlantic coastline.
For a more informal dining experience, Newquay also offers many cafes, restaurants and bars.
