Scarlett House is a beautiful, detached, self-catering holiday property with the added bonus of a hot tub and pool table. The house is spacious, restful, extremely well equipped and only a five minute drive to the town centre and surrounding beaches.
The award winning Newquay zoo and Trenance boating lake are a 15-minute walk away along with a tennis centre which boasts both indoor and outdoor courts. Waterworld with its 25-metre pool, fun pool and slides is in the same location.

During the day, take a gentle 20-minute stroll to Porth beach — a tranquil haven for those discerning visitors seeking a quiet family friendly beach with lifeguard-supervised bathing (in the high season) and traditional beach-side enjoyment with rock pools to explore and streams to dam.
In the evening, relax in the lawned garden with a chilled glass of wine — a perfect setting to enjoy the large and luxurious hot tub, alternatively have fun using the full-size pub style pool table or relax watching the 43" television
The kitchen is large, well equipped and designed to an excellent standard which makes this property the perfect destination for a stress-free Cornish holiday.

Scarlett House is a 'home-from-home' property
We have just returned home from our annual summer holiday, and we're all still buzzing! This year, like so many we took the decision to stay in the UK, a risky decision given the unpredictable British weather in recent years!
We are so glad we did, Scarlett House turned out to be the perfect property for a family holiday in Newquay. Located in a quiet, very pleasant residential cul-de-sac, yet just 5 minutes drive from the town centre it was the ideal base for a holiday in Cornwall.
On the warm sunny days we were easily able to go to our choice of 7 fantastic beaches right on our doorstep and at the end of the day when everyone was tired and wet we were able to fall back home in minutes! On other days we set off to explore the rest of the county and found that at Scarlett House we were never more than an hour from anywhere in Cornwall!
The kids had their bikes and were able to play outside safely after tea while we had a glass of wine in the garden, brilliant! Some evenings we even walked into town for fish & chips!
The property is very spacious, the four bedrooms are all good a good size, the beds dressed in crisp white linen. Very clean, and well equiped, certainly a 'home from home'. We were met on arrival with a warm friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
The garden is compact but very smart with a nice picnic table for tea outside and fab big hot tub, what a treat! A few more bedside lamps and one or two cushions in the lounge would have been nice for extra comfort but we really can't be too critical of this house at all! We'd say if your thinking about it, do it!
Excellent accommodation, what more could you want?
Our family stayed at this property slightly out of season at the beginning of July. There were 2 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 3 months to 16 years.
Being in a quiet cul de sac with a door that locks from the inside we could relax knowing that all the small children were safe inside. The hot tub was a great feature for the adults and the older 'children' to relax in in the evenings (weather permitting) and the heavy duty cover meant that there was no issue with the toddlers playing in the garden.
The house is conveniently situated for the town centre with an alley-way providing a very pleasant walk down to Trenance for the zoo and swimming pool. It is probably a little too far out of town to walk to (unless you are a keen walker) but if you want to be slightly further out away from the noise in the town centre then a short car ride isn't impossible.
The property was well equipped and the pool table provided good entertainment for the evening. The kitchen was very well stocked and having a working washing machine and tumble dryer was great!
All in all an excellent accommodation for a reasonable price - would definitely go back again!

This house has everything you could possibly need. Huge tv was a great bonus as well as the pool table - kids loved that but the hot tub was the absolute icing on the cake - absolute bliss after a long day out and about.
The kids loved it but us grown up really enjoyed it too. Close to pubs, beach, a large morrisons and mcdonalds all within a short drive.
Nothing was too much trouble - We were met on arrival by Louise who was so helpful and friendly and gave us lots of help and advice when we needed it - lovely house - we'll be using it again.
