The place was bigger than I expected and had a amazing view of the sea which was incredible to watch with a morning coffee. The property had everything you would need, even though there was only 2 of us, there is plenty of space for more. The property was in a perfect location, very close to the centre and fristal beach. Linda was also very quick to respond to any inquiries and was very helpful. I will definitely look to see if this property is available for our next stay.

For a 2 bedroom property, Coral Bay Newquay is a spacious and comfortable dwelling. Make sure you have the directions to the cottage because you will miss the turn off without it. When we arrived we were surprised at how narrow the access road was as this was not evident from the photographs or description. We reversed in because at the time there was not much turning angle due to the other cars. That was our only disappointment with the cottage. Also, there is a surfing school opposite so this explains why you need the parking permit even though you have your own parking space. This is s great benefit because free parking in Newquay is not easy. This meant we saved a fortune on parking fees. Overall we were delighted with Coral Bay cottage. It was clean as well as tidy and unlike previous reviewers, we did not think that the decoration was tired, just lived in which makes it quite homely.The The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cutlery and crockery. There is also plenty of storage. Appliances included a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also good Wi-Fi but the TV signal is poor so thank goodness we bought our Fire stick. The view from the balcony is west facing with a great view of Fistral Bay and we enjoyed watching the glorious sunset which has to be seen – simply sensational. The graveyard is just behind the courtyard garden and did not bother us. You also have a good view of the golf course. Coral Bay is in walking distance to Newquay town centre, Fistral Beach, Lusty Glaze Beach and the Gannel estuary. The train station and bus station are in walking distance too so great for day trips The Spar shop is about 3 minutes walk and the larger Sainsbury’s is about 7 minutes walk. We drove to the Lidl about 10 minutes away for a big weekly shop. All in all, Coral Bay is a great location to explore Newquay as well as wider Cornwall and we enjoyed returning back to the cottage to sit on the balcony to watch the golfers and those enjoying watersports. Overrall, we enjoyed our time at Coral Bay and felt so fortunate to have a comfortable place to stay that was well positioned for accessing all that Newquay and Cornwall has to offer.

STAYED 20-7-19 to 27-7-19
We (2 adults 2 kids) come to Cornwall every year, usually stop down the road at Perranporth but as we booked late some of the places we have stayed before were not available but noticed this place with a wider search. Glad that I did this place has great views, close to Fistral Beach and Newquay town, once we parked the car on arrival, we never needed it again until we came home.
I can only say “THANKYOU”, to Sparklean the Management Services; who maintain some Newquay Holiday Rentals. Richard the proprietor was more than helpful because on the day we arrived we found the microwave no longer worked and the kettle had a leak, after a phone call Richard arrived within 10 minutes and we had brand new replacements within an hour.
I have never had better service anywhere or at any time, things like that make for a great holiday because you feel that people have gone out of their way to give you the holiday that you have paid for!

This comfortable, clean and spacious house is in an excellent location, with amazing views over the golf course to Fistral Beach and a terrace from where to watch the beautiful sunsets. There is free parking (such a bonus in Newquay) and it is just a short walk to the town centre. There is a Spar convenience store two minutes away and Sainsbury’s is about a five-minute walk. It is a perfect base not just for Newquay, but also for discovering the delights of Padstow and Rock. We also visited St Endoc church in the sands near Rock, where Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman is buried. Had a brilliant weekend and hope to go back again one day. Highly recommended.

Stayed May 2019
The location was great near beach and town yet quiet away from the hustle and bustle of town. Very spacious upstairs with wonderful views, did wonder about this after reading a review on the graveyard, It was nothing to worry about, old graveyard not very big and the views of the golf course and fistral beach were great. The house had everything we needed plenty of kitchen items for cooking but plenty of restaurants, pubs etc for eating and having a lazy week. would stay here again.

Very spacious with EXCELLENT location-the beach (Fistral) is 5min walk and town is 10min away. The view from the balcony were AMAZING and the secure private terrace enabled me to have to bedroom/terrace door open to sleep listening to the ocean. Secure onsite parking meant that we could leave to car parked(saving £££ on town parking) and the walks allowed quilt free eating….already in talks for booking next year–we usually leave to the last minute…Would I recommend to a friend–I already have done

The house was really nice and clean with a relatively short walk to the town centre and beach. We like to do a lot of walking so the cliffs and views around were good for us and it was great to come back to a clean and comfy home.

The accommodation is in a very good location and watching the sunset over the ocean from the balcony is wonderful.
Service was good, someone on hand whenever we had a question thank you.

We have enjoyed our visit to Newquay and staying at Coral Bay was a bonus. It was very relaxing and comfortable, wonderful winter sea views, fantastic location, walking distance everywhere.
Beautiful beaches around Newquay with lots of coastal walking. Will definitely revisit.

Very pleased with our stay here! accommodation was wonderfully spacious as it was open plan and we loved the views from the balcony even on a rainy day.
It was very clean on arrival, beds made up and were pretty comfy.
Location was great as we could walk everywhere.
Great TV and the kids loved the WIFI. Would stay again
