Lovely stay at Linda’s house! Ideal location for walking to the beach and town, and perfect position for exploring Cornwall. House was spacious and clean, and the boys really appreciated the snooker table and bodyboard to use! Very comfy beds and linen!

This is a lovely place to stay very clean and lovely comfy bed and everything you need for your stay. The garden is great to relax in after being out for the day. Property is in good location and easy walk to the lovely Fistral Beach. Near enough to walk into town for bars, shops and restaurants.

Great apartment on the sunny side of the building. Close to the sea and coastal paths but also walking distance from Newquay town. Underground parking a bonus Host was easily contacted if needed and left a well appreciated welcome pack

We are a family of 4 with two boys aged 6 and 4. The house was a perfect size for us with 2 big double bedrooms and one single room. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedrooms were really nicely decorated. You can tell the house has been recently renovated and it has been really nicely done. The downstairs was a great size and really comfortable and we love the open plan feel so it suited us really well. The garden is also great, a real little sun trap and nice place to relax. Location wise this house couldn’t be more perfect really. 5 minutes down the hill and you are down by the beach and river, perfect spot for crabbing, paddling and exploring. Then a 10 – 15 minute walk the other way and you are down on Fistral Beach which is a fabulous huge beach which our kids loved. You are also only 10 – 15 mins walk in to town where there is everything you need – pubs, shops, chippies, cafes, restaurants etc. I would highly recommend the Harbour Chippy for fish and chips – gorgeous! Bit of a wait but worth it. Other places I would recommend are the Fistral Beach Bar – great pizzas, loaded fries and cocktails and amazing sunsets. Also the Fish Bar down in Newquay (slightly longer walk but not far still) was really good – seafood tapas and small plates, really nice chilled atmosphere too. The only small things I would just add in the house to make it perfect would be adding a tea towel in to the kitchen accessories (we had to use a bath hand towel to dry things which was fine but the towel got a bit messy!), a maiden to hang wet clothes on inside if the weather is bad and more pegs for the washing line as there were only a couple and perhaps a few more glasses and cups. These were tiny things that didn’t detract from our enjoyment in the slightest, just things to perhaps think of to make it perfect! 🙂 All in all, we had a fabulous week and thanks so much for letting us stay in your house!

Great space, great location would definitely stay here again. The space was perfect and open for us with a toddler.

Perfect spot in a beautiful part of the world. Short walk down to the quieter/nicer side of fistral. Really peaceful spot. House is well presented and felt like a home away from home. Comms with Linda were great and she even helped us out with a delivery prior to our stay. Lovely house and we can’t wait to return 🙂

Pleasant stay at the property which had all the amenities and comfort. We had a parking space on the drive outside the property but parking can be an issue in Newquay. We walked everywhere or used the buses which have a very good service.

we have stayed here a couple of times and each year updated but this time wow walls knocked down and now all open plan. 75 inch TV with sky what a luxury, Sky upstairs too,  Liked the USB ports dotted around too                                                                                    Great location only 15 minute walk to everywhere, take a lot to try anywhere else! Having stayed here in 2018 we will definitely rebook for next year.
the location was good only a ten minute walk to the beach, maybe 15 minutes to the town. The house was in a quiet location and had everything you needed.
small back garden but very pleasant and sunny for relaxing when returning from the beach.

STAYED AUGUST 2017
Located in the popular Fistral beach area, there is easy access to the beach and Town which is surrounded by numerous other beaches or you can stroll down the River Gannel which is tidal and leads to Crantock Beach which is stunning!. The house is clean and comfortable and has everything you need from a holiday place, plenty of Hot Water etc. the booking process was also easy as was access to the place but there was help on hand if we had needed it.

It was easy to book and the owners were very helpful and communicated clearly. I would strongly recommend this as an option and will be looking to visit again soon.

STAYED JUNE 2017
We stayed here in June 2017 as a group of friends and found the location great for walking to the beach with our boards (with use of garage to store them) and into town for a night out – plenty of eating places could not go wrong!, good surf at Fistral.
Accommodation was large enough and comfortable. Large 50 inch TV, Good WIFI plenty of cooking utensils etc and outside tap for our wetsuits with somewhere to hang them.
Would stay here again!!

STAYED MAY 2017
An ideal location for all amenities newquay has to offer. The beach is in walking distance, great for surfers, and shops in easy walking distance too. The house had everything we needed for a weeks holiday and having 2 little dogs with us they too had a great time and super dog friendly everywhere. We are regular visitors to cornwall but had never stayed in newquay before, wouldn’t be a very hard choice to stay at this house again! Thanks

This is our third visit and this time with our grandma. As usual we arrived at the accommodation to find it clean and welcoming. Each year we visit you can see add on extras and this time it was the TV in the bedroom and the TV updated to a 42 inch. Well done:) the pictures on the website are not great as the property itself is far better. we like coming here as it is close to the town and only a walk to Fistral Beach with our beach gear. use of the garage is great for our boards. Will be back again for another visit

Having taken an early holiday in May the weather was amazing. we arrived at our accommodation to find it lovely and clean. it was real home from home. Having grandchildren etc Wifi was good and we had an unexpected surprise of a TV in the bedroom which was not on the website. The accommodation had everything you required and we were a walk away from Fistral Beach which was good for the kids as they could carry their boards. nice private back garden with patio furniture and the sun did shine which was lovely. the arrival was a key box which was not a problem as Geoff and Linda were on hand for our problems if we had any. I would recommend this to families or friends.

The house with private garden is spacious, tastefully furnished, well equipped kitchen, all very clean. The heating and hot water works just fine. The river and the famous Fistralbeach few minutes, about 10-15 minutes walk to the city center. Very friendly, helpful owner, who is always available. We love to come again!
